An old map of California for sale in the form of a reproduction (not original) 1720 map titled 'California or New Carolina. This was thought to be produced by French cartographer Nicholas De Fer but is in fact a copy of a map made by Father Eusebio Kino, an Italian priest and map maker.
Meticulously crafted. Beautifully produced. Using archival pigment inks on the finest canvas and textured paper stock. For a stunning, lasting, work of art.
PAPER or CANVAS?
Robust canvas prints, using fade-resistant ink, and a protective film layer, can last up to 150 years with proper care. Unlike cheaper paper, canvas is also less susceptible to yellowing, fading, creasing, and damage.
NOTE: Frame not included.
