Antique typographic world map by Joan Blaeu

A superb reproduction of an antiquarian world map by Dutch cartographer Joan Blaeu (son of renowned map maker Willem Blaeu) created in 1664. It features both the Northern and Southern Hemispheres. The hand lettering is in Latin and it is titled: Nova et accuratissima totius terrarum orbis tabula.

Meticulously crafted. Beautifully produced. Using archival pigment inks on the finest canvas and textured paper stock. For a stunning, lasting, work of art.

Robust canvas prints, using fade-resistant ink, and a protective film layer, can last up to 150 years with proper care. Unlike cheaper paper, canvas is also less susceptible to yellowing, fading, creasing, and damage.

Without needing expensive, heavy glass frames for protection. Plus they're also available stretcher framed, ready to hang on your wall.

NOTE: Frame not included.
